Welcome to See The Change – A community-based web site set up to keep the residents of  Winton, Moordown and the surrounding area updated with the changes that are occurring at The LIFEcentre (formerly Gala Bingo).

The Lifecentre is positioned on Wimborne Road, opposite St John’s CofE, and between Brassey Road and Balfour Road. First built in the 1930s as the Moderne Cinema, the building has now come into the ownership of Bournemouth Community Church (BCC).

Currently work is underway to create a 1000 seater auditorium as well as community sports facilities, youth centre and meeting areas.  On completion of the work, BCC will be moving their administration from the Lifehouse drop-in centre at 533 Wimborne Road to the new facilities at The Lifecentre.

This web site will cover the changes as they happen using video and photography, so no-one need miss the action.
